Time flies!!!

So.... yeah, I think time just disappears into thin air. I am not sure where my days are going but I have just now realized that it have almost been a month since I have posted last and once again I am the worst blogger in the world. I need to figure out how to blog from my phone so I can do it while I am in the bath tub, ;) LOL. Hey, I'm sure people Facebook and Twitter from their phone in the bath tub or bathroom all the time, so why can't I?? Anywhoot, I have had a very stressful month so now I would like to vent, and you MUST listen/read!! LOL, J/k. Lets see, first Mel and I have a rental property (well Mel has one, I just help take care of EVERYTHING), so one day we sat down and decided together that we need to update the lease. The funny thing is that our renters just so happen to be friends of ours (past tense, now they hate me) and Mel is the type to let all kinds of things fly by because he doesn't like confrontation. So Mel and I discussed what we wanted on the lease and I went ahead and put it together (this is the beginning of when they started to hate me). Well needless to say there were some things on there that they did not agree with and since they did not want to sign the new lease, they decided that they were going to move out on August 22nd. Which works for me because we are now able to sell this house and make a profit :) Yay!!! It was a VERY STRESSFUL situation, that put Mel and I through hell and back. The one I do know about our relationship is that we both work very hard at it, and not to sound all corny or love struck but we are both very lucky to have found each other. We really truly are in LOVE and not very many people are able to say that in their life times. So as much as I want to kill him every once in a while, I love him 20 times more and I am grateful to have him.
Ok, so enough about that!! Next order of business, my sister (whom is my best friend) has decided that along with her husband and two little girls they are moving back to Florida, on SATURDAY!!! Yeah, first it was supposed to be end of September but now my sister is leaving with the girls on Saturday and I have never felt so sad. I am losing the one person I have here in San Antonio and I almost feel like a piece of me WILL be missing. Oh yeah, and I am very close to my nieces, I am their second Mom and it is going to break my heart when I have to say bye and the oldest starts crying, that is when my floodgates will open. I have cried about this since I found out it was coming so soon, all of a sudden the date changed and I didn't really have time to let it sink in. I know it is what is best for them and their "family" but I still can't help but be sad about it all. It's just so weird how your relationships can change in your life in a moments time. My sister an I used to not get along, I mean at all when we were growing up we used to fight like cats and dogs. We said some of the meanest things to each other but we were the first to protect each other from others, we were the only ones allowed to make fun of each other. LOL :) I have to say that yes, I am happy that they are moving on with their lives and that they will be happy. I'll just mope around for a bit. :) But I think she will be moping inside, so I don't feel so bad.
Alrighty, I just ate a big ole' piece of cake and I am now exhausted!! I think I will peace out for now and read, maybe fall asleep at work, who knows but I will catch you all on the flip side!!

I am the WORST!!! and MORE

Ok, so... yeah, I am the worst blogger ever!! Please do not hate me, I truly am not trying to ignore my readers but like I said I am the worst blogger ever!! LOL. All kidding aside I am very sorry I have abandoned you and for sure I will get better at this. I have all kinds of stuff to review just haven't done it yet. I had a dry spell for a bit where I kinda gave up on myself, I want results on this blogging thing now and not realizing how it really is just a lot of hard work and dedication that I obviously didn't fully understand. This is really what I want to do, I want to fully engulf myself in makeup and do what I know I am good at.

Since Mel and I just got back on Sunday from our vacation (which was awesome, in VA with my family at our Lake house), we have been thinking about moving, he wants to move to FL and I am not 100% sure on the move but one thing I do know is that the conditions on moving is no where too small (and there is no way you are getting me to move to Corpus Christi!! Eww... no way) and that we have to be somewhere close to where Mel can going fishing often (his passion). FL is sounding better and better but I really do love Texas, I love feeling like I am at home and that is how I feel here, not so much in San Antonio but you know. I want to move somewhere where makeup is more predominate somewhere where I can do this as a career. I think south FL is a lot better than here, but I am torn because of all the memories I have from before. Of course I would be back with my best friend Ally and I would be able to see the people I grew up with that still to this day I absolutely adore. Then again, I don't like how vanity is the most important thing! What does it matter if you are overweight, or if you don't have a Gucci purse or a BMW. I guess I was a lot more worried about that stuff when I was younger and moving to Texas made me finally realize that you have to be happy with yourself, not with what you own. The real thing I am afraid of with possibly moving back would be that I would become that scared teenager again, that I have worked so hard to move on from. Which are the memories I speak of, memories of sadness and never quite fitting in or being good enough. Ahh, it makes me sick. I also hate... I mean hate humidity!! It is the most evil thing in the world and I think it all should just go away!! LOL. Now that I have bounced all over the place in this a little more personal blog, let me tell you something; I am not going anywhere, I am here to stay and I will succeed at this! I have had my share of trials and tribulations and that's it, well for now, LOL.

So, on to our next topic.... hmmm... oh yeah, today is a memorable day, I will be starting a Training Boot Camp... Ahh!!! Since I want to lose about 50 pounds and Mel has a good friend that is a personal trainer named Carlos (I'm sure you will be hearing a lot about him soon, good and BAD depending on how sore I am tomorrow, but hey beauty is pain right?) which is hosting a Boot Camp that I have reluctantly joined, scary right. I know it is for the best and this will be the motivation I desperately need to loose this weight. The only thing is I do NOT want to lose my "assets"!! LOL, Mel would not be happy if my butt shrunk and I went down a cup size, but he will deal if it does happen.

Any hoot, I think I have changed the subject enough in this post and it doesn't have any reviews, swatches or FOTD info and soon I will post that stuff. But this post is me, natural and raw. I don't think there is anything better than being real and that is who I will always be. So any comments on me possibly moving to FL, I know there are a few people who follow my blog that would love to see me back in FL, and to let you know I love and miss you all so much!! Hopefully, we can rendezvous soon!

So So SOOO Sorry!!

Good Morning fellow junkies!!

I am so so sooo sorry that I have been neglecting you, I didn't mean to I swear. As I thought I was getting better, I wasn't, my body lied to me. Evil Body, so I got worse, a lot worse!!! I got the flu... the flu... not the swine flu... but none the less the stinking flu!! So I wasn't up for blogging, I left work early on Thursday and this is my first day back!! So I am "glad" to be back and feeling 80% better than I did when I left. The doctor gave me some antibiotics and some cough syrup with codeine and I was on my way home to get some well needed R&R. This weekend was interesting since I spent most of it either on my couch or in my bed sleeping! LOL, and my boy toy was in Corpus Christi fishing so I was able to really relax and not worry about anything other than getting better and I am much better!! So again, I am so so sooo sorry and I promise I was not trying to neglect you, just trying to get better! I will be posting again later on today and letting you know some more about my weekend!!

This was a very easy look- Pinks, Golds and some brown E/S as liner! I love the simplicity of this look but it is very pretty and flattering for all skin tones!! I would so suggest for all of you to go to CCO and see if you can get the Colour Forms Warm Eyes Palette because it really has some AMAZING colors!! Not COOL!!

Hello everyone,
There have been a few this that have not been cool this past weekend!! I felt like I needed to share and vent,
1. My boy toy is sick!!
2. He has now gotten me sick!! :(
3. Saturday I had my makeup gig on the other side of town, so I drive 45 mins to get to her house to do her makeup for her birthday and she canceled on me when I was in her neighborhood finding her house. That made me kinda sad, but you live and you learn. Now, I am so doing deposits!!
4. I was so hungover yesterday, all day, and on top of that I am SICK!!
5. Didn't want to get up this morning due to lack of sleep!!
6. Mel didn't go out with us all this Saturday night due to, to much Tussinex.
So, as you can tell I didn't have the perfect weekend I had envisioned but it wasn't all bad!! My friend Robin's best friend Marissa came into town and got to spend some time together. We all went downtown and I obviously had a bit too much fun!! LOL. Oh well, My niece Nori stayed with us this weekend and it was fun to spend some time with her in between the craziness of this weekend!! I definitely need some rest and what sucks is that we are in desperate need of some food in the house, so now the daunting task of grocery shopping will need to be done tonight. I really can't complain to much as I have a truly blessed life, with great friends, family and a loving boyfriend!! I'll be back soon with some pictures and more detailed about our outing on Saturday night, as well as a FOTD.

Kristi's B-day!!

Wow, so this has obviously been a long awaited post, especially since Kristi's Birthday was on May 2nd and it is now May 15th!! Oopps on my part, that is a little late. Oh well here it is!!

So my boyfriend and I drove up to Dallas for the weekend of the May 2nd which happens to be my best friend Kristi's birthday (which I love very much) Not only did we get Mani's and Pedi's on Saturday but I also got to go to the Galleria which is my all time favorite mall, oh yeah and I got to go to MAC!! (MAC= Love) Then we passed by Betsey Johnson and I fell in love with the cutest bathing suit!! I have to have it now, the only problem is that it is $200!! AHHH... that is heaps of money.

Ok so back to main topic- Kristi's Birthday!! We had a blast doing girly stuff and makeup , lots and lots of makeup. A complete full size bed was covered with mine and Carly's (I will show you pics don't worry) makeup, it was crazy yet incredible. After our day of pampering and getting ready we headed to Gloria's where we had some yummy food and the cake that I made her for her birthday! (Again, I have pics) Then we went to Skillman St. Pub to watch her friends band- which was awesome and will be playing at some concert coming to town, I don't remember which one. Uh OH!!! Then we finished the night off with a drinking game and to no shock, I don't remember the name of it!! LOL :) the only pics that I have are from our amazing time at Gloria's and well you guessed it.... here they are!!

MAC Makeup Haul/ Review and Swatches

"Good Mornting", have you ever seen Madea's Family Reunion? I LOVE that movie, all of Tyler Perrys movies are awesome and usually hilarious!! I found this one quote entertaining and I quote it all of the time. Instead of saying Good Morning you say " Good Morn-ting" I find it quite entertaining to throw people off. :) I am evil, I know!! It's great, it's like in Super Troopers when all they say is "meow", LOL I could go on but I will stop.

Time to post some pictures and swatches on this huge haul!

So, I told you guys that I was going to CCO this past Saturday and oh did I!! That place is like playground for makeup addicts, like I am! There is no way I can ever get out of there without putting a huge dent in my pocket book!! Most of the stuff on this post is going to be from CCO but there are a few things from the actual MAC store and I will specify those. So here we go...

Amazing Brushes:

Ok, so I got my 187 (Skunk Brush) at the MAC store in Dallas, but I did get my 219 (pencil brush) at CCO.
-I absolutely adore my skunk brush and my 219, these are a must have for your collection.

Face Stuff:

Swatches:

The only thing I got from CCO from these picture was the Studio Mist Foundation.

-I LOVE my Fix + and I can't do my makeup without it!!

-The Just a Pinch Gel Blush is really awesome, I love it but if you are wearing a heavier foundation be careful when blending on this product as it can bland into your foundation and change the color of the blush.

-The Studio Mist Foundation, I have only used it to swatch it, but it does look like it has good coverage and it is very light.

More Face:

Swatches:

The only thing I didn't get at CCO in these pictures is the Cream Colour base in Pearl. -I really like the glow that the Mineralize skinfinish gives. You can also use just the shimmer for a higlight.
-The Mineralize Sheersheen powder, I have only used to swatch but it truly is a beautiful color and would also be great for an all over glow or a highlight.
-Cream Colour base is brilliant, good for hightlight and a base to our eyes or cheeks. If you have oily skin be careful of using it as a base on eyes or cheeks, since it can be oily.
-Merrily is an amazing HIGHLY pigmented blush, that I love!

Eyes:

I bought everytyhing in these pictures @ CCO and I am very pleased with this purchase.
-Pink Slip is a beautiful color with neutral colors that are very shimmery. The payoff is not bad just don't expect them to be dark E/S, I used Pink Slip yesterday and I really enjoyed it, I just needed some other colors to darken it up a bit.
-Word of Mouth is a great trio!! I am wearing these E/S today and I am really pleased with the payoff and colors and the great thing is that the navy blue shade is buildable. So you can have it as light or dark as you want.
-Dreammaker is my new favorite under brow shade!! It is a pretty light gold color and goes great with any color.
-Cool Heat I used for the NIN concert (along with Dreammaker) and this is a beautiful medium blue with great payoff.

I got the top two Palettes (one on left from the Colour Forms Collection is the Warm Eyes Palette, one on the right from the Heatherette Collection is the Eye Trio 2) from CCO, the bottom palette (Hello Kitty Too Dolly palette) I got from the MAC Store in Dallas.

-Chillproof- Very pretty shimmery white- great for higlight
-Tancentric- Pale Rose- really pretty color
-Rolled Gold- the perfect Green with gold shimmer- AMAZING
-Rustic- Nice cranberry like color- Great for crease or a darker lid color
-Fertile- Dark blackish/ brown matte color- good for crease or liner

- Heatherette Eye Trio 2:

- Baby Petals- really pretty light shimery pink color- great for under brow bone and inner corner
- V.I.P.- great pink with pink shine- Good payoff and very pretty color
-Cassette- purplish plum color- Fav color out of this trio. Very pretty and great payoff

- Hello Kitty Too Dolly Palette:

-Swatches:

-Yogurt- pale pink matte color- doesn't do much for me, although it is not a bad color
- Romping- pink magenta with purple- LOVE this color, really pretty
-Too Dolly- Aqua blue- Fav color if this quad, great payoff and great shimmer
-Slately Black- dark navy with gold shimmer- Okay color, not a fan of the gritty feeling

-Greenstroke - Greenish blue with gold tones- love this color, wearing it as we speak.
-Painterly- nude color- great for base
- Moss Scape- Olive green color- Love it, I like to put Rolled Gold E/S over this PP.
- Artifact- maroon plum color- very pretty good for bringung out pinks and purples.

-Rose a Romance Collection L/G- Medium pink with glitter- I would like for the gloss to be brighter on, but still a great L/G
-Monogram Collection L/G- Light Cream with glitter- I really like this L/G very pretty and has a good sheen to it.
-Fafi Collection Lip Glaze- Peachy pink color with glitter- I LOVE THIS LIP GLAZE, my absolute favorite!!

Back in town- NIN Concert!!

Good Afternoon,
Sorry about the delay but I have been editing pictures all morning and I hopefully have them all done for the next 5 posts that I have!! Well hopefully it all goes well, if not I will probably rip all of my hair out and need someone to tell me what to use to get it back!! LOL. Okay enough with the blabbing, I wanted to let you all know that the concert was for lack of a better word, ORGASMIC!! :) I had so much fun, it doesn't bother me that I have a huge bruise on my thigh from bumping into my drink holder and spilling most of my beer on this poor unsuspecting gentleman!! Oopps. Hello fellow Junkies!!
Today I am so excited about my upcoming concert tomorrow night!!! I am going to see... drum roll please.... Jane's Addiction and Nine Inch Nails. I haven't been this excited since, well Saturday, but that’s beside the point. That was a different kind of excitement though; so it doesn't count. Anywhoot, I am really excited about it. I can’t wait to use some of my new E/S that I got from my newest haul to CCO. FOTD- Another Strange Morning!!

Good Morning,
How is your morning so far? Mine, yet again is 'MEH"!! If I didn't love my boyfriend more than anything in the world, I would have kicked him out of bed this morning!! Is that mean? I'm sure it is not the nicest thing I could have said but, if you were trying to sleep and someone was awake moving around in bed from 3:30- 5:00 waking you up every 5 mins you wouldn't be a saint either!! It isn't his fault at all, but right now I need a scapegoat!! LOL. So between yesterday and today I am almost running on empty... Blah.

So how are you doing this morning? I hope everything is well and I still haven't uploaded my pictures!! Last night we had an alarm installed and the didn't finish till about 8:00. My plan was to work on my blog at that time while the men dealt with the alarm, but I ended up finishing the dishes and cleaning up the house. After they left I watched Supernanny and Wife Swap, ate Chinese food and went to bed. Today I was in a rush so I wanted a fast face. I just used Tinted Moisturizer and some Mineral Powder for my base an went from there! It seems like quite a bit of items but I did this all in 15-20 mins and I was kinda draggin butt. Well it is time for me to get back to work and to my breakfast.

Good Morning everyone,
How is your morning so far?? Mine is "meh" (Love you Kathryn, but I like that word), I woke up at 5:30 with a killer migraine, which was so not cool!!! So I went back to bed and woke up about 20 mins later and not so bad but still pretty bad. Needless to say I woke up later than planned and I didn't have time to take detailed pictures of my look today, but I did take some pics of the full look this morning that I will post later on when I get home. For now I will just let you know what I used to get my FOTD. Some of the stuff that I used for my look today are from my most recent trip to MAC!! YAY; MAC= LOVE. Anyways, I will be doing a review of my haul later on this week hopefully!! LOL. :)

Wow, that seems like a lot of stuff!! hold on, it is. I promise you it doesn't take long thought. I did my whole look this morning in about 20-25 mins. This look is a pinkish purple with some gold shimmer, very neutral and great for work!!!
On that note, I should probably get back to work.

Hello everyone,

My name is Bobbie Sue and I am UBER excited to be a fellow blogger!!

Ever since I was a little girl I have been obsessed with anything I like to call "girly"AKA Shoes, Purses, makeup, hair products and the list goes on. Then when I was in high school girls used to come over to my house in the morning so that I can do their makeup and that is when I decided I can actually do this, I can do what I love. I have my friends and family calling me all the time asking me for makeup advice, "What primer do you use?" or "Bobbie Sue, what shoes should I buy to go with this outfit?" and I always tell them what I feel is best for them.

Recently my best friend told me about a website called MakeupGeek.Com, I am sure a bunch of you already follow that site, well it made me go to a different level of my addiction for anything beautiful. Which is why I have decided to start my own blog, so you can all see my reviews on products that I try out. At that same time, I decided that I wanted to do makeup or makeovers for weddings, proms or any special occasions to make woman feel as beautiful as they ever have. So as you can tell I am diving head first into a world that feeds my addiction to all things "girly".
